The ADBL Clay Bar Set contains three clay bars (paint cleaning clays) of 50g each, in the hardness grades Soft, Medium and Hard. The set is designed to remove stubborn contaminants such as resin, tar and industrial fallout from paintwork and glass.

The soft bar suits lightly contaminated paintwork, whilst the medium and hard variants handle heavier mineral deposits and older contamination. All three can be used by both hobbyists and professional detailers.

For best results, soak the clay bar in warm water before use and always combine it with a clay lubricant. See more clay lubricants for paint cleaning in our range.

What sets ADBL Clay Bar Set apart?

What sets the ADBL Clay Bar Set apart is the three hardness levels included in the same pack, allowing the right clay bar to be selected according to the paintwork's condition and level of contamination. This provides a flexible solution for different needs without having to purchase several separate products.

The pliability makes the material easy to work with, and all bars are safe for all paint types when used together with a clay lubricant.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is the ADBL Clay Bar Set suitable for matte paint and vinyl wraps?

Yes, the ADBL Clay Bar Set can be used on most paint types, including matte paint and vinyl wraps, provided a clay lubricant is used during application to minimise the risk of scratching. If in doubt, testing on a small area first is recommended.

Can ADBL clay bars be reused after use?

No, a clay bar should not be reused after it has fallen on the ground or picked up grit, as embedded particles can then scratch the paintwork. However, as long as the bar is kept clean and soft during use with lubricant, it can be used several times during the same wash session before it becomes saturated with contaminants.

What distinguishes the ADBL Clay Bar Set from other clay bar products on the market?

What distinguishes the ADBL Clay Bar Set is that three hardness levels – Soft, Medium and Hard – are included in the same pack, colour-coded for easy identification. Many competing products are sold in only one hardness grade, requiring separate purchases for different contamination levels. More ADBL products for vehicle care are available in our range.
