Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does KiurLab Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral work on all types of leather?

No – KiurLab Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral is developed for closed leather types, both natural and synthetic, as well as vinyl. The product must not be used on aniline leather, nubuck, or suede, as these materials have open surfaces that react differently to paint-based systems. Always verify the leather type before application.

What dosage is recommended for KiurLab Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral?

KiurLab recommends adding Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral at a rate of 10–15% of the total paint volume. The additive is thoroughly mixed into the paint until a uniform consistency is achieved, after which the blend is applied using standard technique for the KiurLab PRO LEATHER system. The 1 L volume makes the product well suited to professional use in studios with ongoing production.

What sets KiurLab Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral apart from other additive bases for leather restoration?

KiurLab Leather and Vinyl Paint Neutral is developed specifically to work within the KiurLab PRO LEATHER system, ensuring full compatibility with the system's other paints and components. Unlike generic thinners, this base is formulated to maintain the paint's adhesion and coverage even after volume has been increased. We offer the product as part of a complete professional system for leather and vinyl recolouring. See also more products for leather and vinyl care in our range.
