KiurLab Pro Leather Duller is a concentrated matt additive designed to be blended directly into leather paint to control the sheen level of the finished result on treated leather surfaces. The product is not used as a standalone treatment; it forms a precision step within the KiurLab PRO LEATHER system.

By adjusting the mixing ratio, the user can steer the final result from satin-matt to deep matt, in line with OEM specifications or the client's requirements. The additive enables a gradual and controllable adjustment of sheen without compromising the paint's adhesion or coverage.

The product is suited to professional restorers working with leather in vehicles, furniture, and other applications where an exact and reproducible surface finish is required. See more KiurLab products for leather restoration in our range.

What is Pro Leather Duller and why choose it?

KiurLab Pro Leather Duller is a matting concentrate that gives the restorer full control over the sheen level in the finished result. Many leather paints deliver a standardised gloss appearance that does not always match the original surface finish – with Duller, the sheen can be adjusted precisely to OEM standard or the client's specification.

The product stands out for its precision: the additive is blended gradually into the paint, and the effect can be tested and corrected before the final application is carried out. This makes it a reliable tool for professional restorers who cannot accept deviations in the finished result.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can KiurLab Pro Leather Duller be used as a standalone product for matting leather?

No, KiurLab Pro Leather Duller is designed exclusively as an additive for leather paint and should never be applied directly to a leather surface without first being blended with paint. The product is part of the KiurLab PRO LEATHER system and delivers the best results when used in combination with the other steps in that system. Always blend Duller in gradually, carry out a test application, and adjust the proportions before proceeding with the final treatment.

What volume does KiurLab Pro Leather Duller come in and how far does it go?

KiurLab Pro Leather Duller is supplied in a 250 ml container. As the product is used as a concentrated additive in leather paint and the mixing ratio varies depending on the desired sheen level, it is not possible to state an exact coverage area. Always carry out a test blend to establish the correct proportion before large-scale application.

What sets KiurLab Pro Leather Duller apart from other matt additives on the market?

KiurLab Pro Leather Duller has been specifically developed to integrate within the KiurLab PRO LEATHER system, meaning it is optimised for compatibility with the system's other components. The product enables gradual and precise adjustment of the sheen level – from satin-matt to deep matt – and is formulated to meet OEM standards. This makes KiurLab Pro Leather Duller a reliable choice for professional restorers working with premium interiors who require reproducible, documentable results.
