What is Traffic Film Remover and why choose it?

Traffic Film Remover (TFR) is a category of alkaline or neutral pre-wash products specifically formulated to break down the layer of traffic film – a mixture of exhaust particles, oil deposits, dust, and organic grime – that accumulates on vehicle surfaces during normal use. Conventional car care products often struggle to dissolve this layer without mechanical agitation.

KiurLab Traffic Film Remover helps to loosen traffic film during the pre-wash stage, reducing the risk of scratches during subsequent hand washing or machine washing. The adjustable concentration makes the product cost-effective for operations with varying washing requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is KiurLab Traffic Film Remover suitable for pre-washing prior to paint treatment and Coating?

Yes, KiurLab Traffic Film Remover is suitable as a pre-wash product prior to paint treatment and the application of Coating. The product helps to remove traffic film and organic contaminants that could otherwise interfere with the adhesion of subsequent paint protection products. Dilute the product according to the recommended guidelines and rinse thoroughly before proceeding to the next step in the detailing process.

What volume and concentration does KiurLab Traffic Film Remover Kiu000046 offer?

KiurLab Traffic Film Remover is supplied in a 5-litre container (model Kiu000046) with adjustable concentration. This means the dilution ratio can be adapted to the level of soiling and the intended application, making the product cost-effective for both light maintenance washes and heavily soiled vehicles. The exact recommended dilution ratio is stated on the product packaging.

What sets KiurLab Traffic Film Remover apart from a standard pre-wash product?

KiurLab Traffic Film Remover is specifically formulated to break down traffic film – a stubborn layer of exhaust particles, oil deposits, and organic grime – which standard pre-wash products often struggle to dissolve effectively. The adjustable concentration also provides greater flexibility compared to products with a fixed dilution ratio, making KiurLab Traffic Film Remover a versatile choice for professional users.
