What is a pH-Neutral Car Shampoo and why choose it?

A pH-neutral car shampoo has a pH value close to 7, meaning it is neither acidic nor alkaline. This ensures the product does not break down wax layers, Sealant, or Coating on the painted surface – something that strong alkaline cleaners risk doing. KiurLab's car shampoo is therefore a suitable choice for vehicles that have an active paint protection and are washed regularly.

The gentle formula from KiurLab helps to extend the lifespan of the paint protection between applications, reducing the need for frequent reapplications and saving time in a professional environment.

• Hand washing of passenger cars and light vehicles
• Detailing studios and reconditioning workshops with a regular washing routine

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does KiurLab's car shampoo work on vehicles with an active Ceramic Coating?

Yes, KiurLab's pH-Neutral Car Shampoo Grapefruit Scent 1L is pH-neutral and formulated to be gentle on existing protective layers. This means the product does not break down Ceramic Coating or Sealant under normal use. The shampoo is therefore a suitable choice for regular hand washing of vehicles with active paint protection.

What volume does KiurLab's car shampoo come in and how long does it last?

KiurLab's pH-Neutral Car Shampoo Grapefruit Scent 1L is supplied in a 1 litre bottle. How long the product lasts depends on the dilution ratio and washing frequency. Car shampoos of this type are typically diluted in water in a bucket, meaning 1 litre can be sufficient for a number of washes depending on vehicle size and dosage. We recommend following the manufacturer's instructions for optimum dilution.

What distinguishes KiurLab's car shampoo from a standard APC?

KiurLab's pH-Neutral Car Shampoo Grapefruit Scent 1L is specifically formulated for hand washing of vehicle paintwork with a pH-neutral and gentle recipe, whereas an APC is often alkaline and more aggressive. APC products can dissolve wax and Coating with repeated use, making them unsuitable for regular paint washing. KiurLab's car shampoo helps to preserve the paint protection and is designed for safe, repeated use. We also stock more products from KiurLab for complete vehicle care.
